Statement from David S. Williams III
Care3 Founder & CEO
My name is David Williams and I’m a parent of two children on the autism spectrum with multiple co-occurring conditions including epilepsy, PANDAS, and more. My daughter, Soleil is high functioning. My son, David IV has deeper challenges. The one thread that ties them together is neither of them started as well as they are now.
My son (we call him Davo) was very, very severe after his initial diagnosis at 24 months. His ATEC score was over 140 (out of a possible 180). Neurotypical is 22 or lower. He is such a good boy.
Now 20, he is still non-speaking and requires 24/7 supervision, but his ATEC is in the mid-70s. That’s more than a 40% improvement in symptoms and behaviors. Doctors said that he would never be able to communicate, but he can now type his thoughts. Doctors said he wouldn’t be able to live at home when he gets older due to his aggression and danger to self and others. Also not true. Davo still lives happily at home and as we say, “causes zero problems.”
Doctors, therapists, and other couldn’t believe Davo’s progress. It was impossible, they said. They called it a “miracle” that he could read, type, and communicate. Was it, though?
My daughter, Soleil, was not nearly as severe as Davo, but she had her challenges. Diagnosed at age 4, she had severe behavioral problems. During elementary school, she would routinely flip over desks in her tantrum episodes. We would get multiple calls a week after classroom evacuations due to her outbursts. Her ATEC was in the 50s.
Now age 18, she is a senior in high school, graduating with honors, and headed to college. Her ATEC is around 22. Not only is that a greater than 50% improvement, it’s also considered “neurotypical” which means by the numbers, she has achieved recovery. Can there be two “miracles”—in the same family?
Over the years, we changed doctors when they didn’t see our vision. Like most parents, we persisted in creating the best opportunities for our children, even with their complex diagnoses. If friends didn’t support us, we had to let them go. In the face of doubt, we followed our method and achieved results no one thought we could–in short, we achieved the impossible. We made our miracles.
I want to help you achieve the impossible—to make miracles. I am launching a new membership program that helps people construct a road of discovery to recovery for themselves and loved ones with complex conditions. I am seeking families ready to overcome their fears and achieve results that many say (or will say) are impossible.
Our Promise to You
I will absolutely roll up my sleeves for you (or your loved one). We use a data-driven approach to make decisions, resulting in “impossible” or “miracle” outcomes. Not only that, I have also reduced annual out-of-pocket expenses for health and care by 90% in three years. That’s more money each month and the path to financial freedom.
The top questions people ask me are: How did you do it? Who are your doctors? What made the biggest difference? What role did schools play in helping your children? How did you save money? I will answer all of those questions and more.
Most people don’t know that I’m also interested in and love science fiction, working out, analyzing data, writing and performing spoken word, and podcasting. Each of these seemingly unrelated hobbies and interests have contributed to my children’s improvement. Don’t lose yourself in this process!
When you work with me and my team, we show up. You will get our best because we know that you or your loved one can achieve more, especially when others say it’s impossible. We will help you discover the hidden pathways to impossible outcomes and stretch your money to stay on course with lifetime financial goals. That’s our promise. We will help you make your miracle.
