(Los Angeles, CA) – Care3™ (www.care3.co), the world’s first team collaboration platform for healthcare delivered in the home and community, has been selected to participate in the 3rd class of Braddock Scholars with The Aspen Institute. Open to venture founders who have participated in one of the Aspen Institute fellowships, The Braddock Scholars Program helps companies ready to scale reach significance after achieving proof-of-concept.

“Care3 has proven to reduce falls leading to emergency visits and hospitalizations, saving hundreds of thousands of dollars each month for senior care programs,” said David S. Williams, CEO of Care3 and member of the 2013 class of Henry Crown Fellows with The Aspen Institute. “Scaling this type of cost savings industry-wide would change the calculus behind offering localized care for underserved populations in the United States and around the world.”

The program aims to channel the expertise of a senior mentor towards the challenges the Fellow faces. The mentorship is defined by this specific mandate to focus on key scale challenges identified at the outset of the relationship. Scholars and mentors commit to spending at least one hour per month, having “board level” conversations. The Scholar class meets at least once annually to mobilize the wider Scholar and Mentor network as a broader advisory community.

About the Braddock Scholars Program

Made possible thanks to the generosity of Aspen Institute trustee, Rick Braddock, the Braddock Scholars program supports Fellows of the Aspen Global Leadership Network who aim to have transformational impact on society by bringing their venture to significant scale.  The program supports selected Scholars through a combination of mentorship, peer learning activities, a grant to fund a key scale active of the scholars choosing, and enhanced connectivity across the Aspen Institute.
