Speaker: David S. Williams III:

Hi Everybody David Williams from Care3 here. And we're now in 2021. 2020 was a bad year. It was tough for so many people. The real question is what are you going to do differently this year? Now I know what I'm going to do differently. There are several things and I've even made notes here. So you'll excuse me, as I look over, but one I'm going to connect with extended family more often, if COVID hasn't taught us anything, it's that we shouldn't take our family for granted a second. I'm going to ask for help without feeling shame. That's my trick. Third, I'm going to pay attention to my mental health. That's important. And I'll talk about that a little bit more in a moment.

Next one. I'm going to get dressed every single day and not just the top half, right? Uh, also the bottom. And lastly, I'm going to use more metaphors haven't thought any metaphors to use right now, but I am going to use more metaphors because I think that is a good way to get points across. Now, some of the things I will continue from 2020 with adjustments that were done on the fly one, stay home. I have stayed home. I haven't been out of the house more than 15 times in the last 10 months. And when I do out of the house, it's essentially just to take my son on a car ride. That's what's necessary. Secondly, I will wear a mask when I am out, even in my car. It's that important. Third, I will continue to work out to reduce stress. That's been the thing that's kind of kept me going and I have a good way to use home gym, uh, capabilities, uh, work out in my garage.

Um, but for people who don't have a garage, uh, any small space can be workout area. So home workouts, highly underrated. And lastly, I'm going to continue to document family health incidents because we don't have the ability to go see doctors anymore. They have to know what's happening. And when we do have our tele-health sessions or other check-ins, they need data. They need insight into what's happening to us so they can continue to deliver the best care and the best treatment options for us and our families. And so I will continue to do that documentation. And as it returned back to paying attention to my mental health, that is also part of that documentation in. So doing care three is beginning a 30 day challenge, a 30 day mental health challenge, where we're going to ask you to download the app, or if you're already a member, go ahead and upgrade to the latest sign in.
