May is Mental Health Awareness Month. Care3™ has launched a new FREE direct-to-consumer feature helping each member document and manage stress and anxiety, called My Health Timeline.

The premise and promise of each My Health Timeline is simple:

You have to care for yourself to care for others.

Care3 has invented the Health Timeline to document tasks, appointments, symptom and vital experiences and more. Each person receives reminders, encouragement, and tools to manage stress and anxiety in their everyday lives.

“Our mental health is often overlooked until we have a serious episode,” explains David S. Williams, CEO and Co-Founder of Care3. “We are dedicated as a company to helping people manage difficult health and care situations for others—we have a responsibility to make sure we provide tools to help each of us care for ourselves.”

Mental health support is the second most sought-after service among family caregivers according to multiple studies. Charting mood and stress can provide insight into triggers and indicate when help is needed.

“This Mental Health Awareness Month we should internalize that it is OK to pay attention to ourselves,” adds Williams. “We want to help people recognize the need for help without shame or stigma.”
